These boys played hard and cheered and supported each other all weekend long whether they were up or down on the scoreboard! At the end of the weekend they walked away as Tournament Champions out of 15 teams!!
We couldn’t be more proud of these boys AND their amazing coaches who kept their cool and our boys calm even with crazy opposing fans and a few bad calls.
Noah “cup checked” this poor boy trying to steal home but got him out!!
Always big hearts for our #6
It can be difficult for siblings to have to spend the day/weekend at the ball fields but this cutie played non stop from 9:30am - 4pm while we were there! Cotton candy is the main driver that gets him to want to go to these games LOL
Scoring points for his team!
Noah did great pitching on saturdays 2nd game after he was the catcher for the 1st game!! 1,2,3 strikes and they are out of there!!!
Noah’s teammates telling him how great he did on the pitchers mound! Love this group of boys!
Day 2.....time to bring home the win for this #42 Jackie Robinson tournament
Final game....Championship.....tied game 10-10 and the tie breaker is to allow each team one extra inning to bat. Caveat is you start with a runner on second base AND one out already.
Coach called Noah up to pitch this extra inning and SUPER high pressure moment and Noah ROCKED it!!! 1,2 struck them both out....batter #3 got a hit to short stop which our team caught and then got a double play and got the runner out and inning was done!!
All we had to do was score 1 run in our batting inning and we won the game....runner started on second base (Noah was this runner....gahhhh all this pressure!) and one out on the board.
A great team huddle in the picture below by our up coming batters......

Noah was told to be aggressive and once the pitch was thrown to try to steal 3rd base like he always does. Unfortunately the pitch was perfect to their catcher and he threw it to 3rd and got Noah out. Noah was devastated but we still had one more out to try to win the game!

2 good base hits got our boys on the bases and the 3rd batter (who led the group huddle before this inning) had an awesome hit and brought BOTH of those 2 runners in to win the game!!!!!

These boys are amazing and THRIVE when the pressure is on!!

Of course we all LOVE it when we have amazing fans too!!! Check out these cool cats....Mimi and Grandpa in the first picture and very dedicated Papa who never missed a practice or a game in the 2nd picture!

While we are away at baseball Haley and her team are practicing hard for their upcoming Summit competition in Orlando in 1.5 weeks!!!!! Summit is like the Worlds Competition for levels less than 5&6. This is every girls dream to compete at Summit!

Grandma continues to be a HUGE help in getting Haley to and from cheer practice on both Saturday and Sunday so we didn’t have to leave or miss a baseball game!! Brody was also excited to spend Sunday with Grandma for a day of rest from the baseball field!

And this kid is officially exhausted after a full day of straight play at the ball field!
