Brody's first solid foods and 5 month check up!

This man had a big day today! He weighed 14.3 1/2lbs at his 5 month appt.

He's still a thumb sucker! I hate it but he looks so cute!! Oh and he sure loved his Sofie the giraffe just like his cuz Peyton!

Brody also had his first solid food today....peas!! He initially liked the idea of trying peas and liked the first few bites, gagged and then he was done. We will try again when he's not tired.

Thanks Papa for making Brody's first food!!! :-D

Big sister helped feed him too!

Happy Fathers Day Clayton!!!

This guy has been a HUGE trooper this week!!!!! With Haley and I out of town for 4.5 days Clayton has had both Brody and Noah all by himself! :-O From what I've seen from daily pictures and face time it looks like Daddy has this all under control!! Here are some pictures from all the fun events!!

Noah on his way to swim lessons!!

My morning Good Morning picture from Brody :-D Love these!

Noah stole my spot in our bed while I was gone. Apparently he had a bad dream. Thanks to Daddy for the rescue!

Good Morning Brody!

Saturday morning and Daddy has Noah all dressed and ready with his hair combed so he can go see a movie with Papa!!!

Noah's showing Brody his car! <3 Love these boys!!

Thank you Papa for taking Noah for a special morning out!! I especially love the pictures from the movie and McD's!

Daddy not only had both boys this weekend but even did some yard work around the house! Looks like Brody was enjoying the fresh air!

Happy Fathers Day morning!!!!

THANK You Clayton for taking such good care of our boys while Haley and I were away!!! It was a much needed ladies weekend! Happy Fathers Day again!

STL Wedding

Congrats Jason & Christie!!! Welcome to the family!

Haley had her first very late night imos and wine experience!! 2 nights in a row!! These little girls were champs!!

Madi was sleeping at this point but this was 11pm and we were just heading down to the next hotel room and pizza was on its way :-)

What a great trip with all of our family!!  We ended this weekend with an amazing STL style BBQ!!! Pork Steaks, baked beans, potatoe salad, deviled eggs, and garlic toast just like my Grandma used to make it!! Huge thank you to Art and Linda for letting us stay with them for 2 nights and cooking this amazing dinner for us!

Jefferson City

Rehearsal dinner and festivities on Friday night!

Our initial hotel reservations happen to be hosting the comicon convention!!! It's was outrageous! We stayed at that hotel for all of about 5 min and just long enough to ride the elevator with a few interesting people and then we packed up and headed to the next hotel down the street :-D That is just not my cup of tea!

They were swarming the hotel!! Everywhere....hundreds! And this want Disney World! I had to tell Haley not to talk to any of these people, they aren't real, just random adults all dressed up for no reason.

It was smooth sailing after we got all settled in at the new hotel! We only had to change 7 hotel rooms!!!

Next morning we did a family walk to the BEST coffee shop in Jefferson City! The coffee and food was amazing and the nicest owners and workers there! Thanks Tom and Anna for suggesting this place!

These girls are having such a blast together!

Next stop.....the Capital! Apparently we all got a boost of energy from the coffee and decided we'd just head right there from breakfast. It was the perfect weather too! Haley was eating this up! She LOVED it!! I remember as a kid hating field trips to places like this but she wanted to see it all. Is she really my kid?? ;-)

We made wishes in every fountain we saw!

Raced up every step to the front door of the capital!

Haley and Grandpa!

We saw the chambers....

Walked to the top balcony area that we were allowed...

Visited the Governors Garden

All this site seeing made us want ice cream so we decided to make a stop at Central Dairy which is apparently a big deal...ha! It was good!

Next....wedding time!!! I will start my next post with those photos!
