Busy Weekends

Happy St. Patty's Day!

As you can see from the videos Haley has been practicing her dancing lately and has actually put them to some songs :)
She usually will let me take videos of her, but sometime shes likes to steal the my camera from me! Crazy girl!
Haley is really starting to love her puppies these days! Her and Kylah play like best friends...one minute they are two peas in a pod and others they are fighting! Obviously Kylah won this time :) Haley loves Rajah and Jasmine too! (Mimi and Grandpa's Maltese) Haley had a little chit chat with Rajah and turns out they are going to be good friends!
Friday's are still "Haley's Day"...this is when Grandma and Papa (Clayton's parents) come over to watch Haley! Yes, this is still every Friday! Typical Fridays for Haley's is that Grandma shows up early in the morning to join Haley for breakfast, reading many books, singing songs and playing several games, including patty cake. They even go exploring the back yard...even on the coldest days! Amazing what this little girl can get her Grandma to do! Then Papa usually shows up around lunch time with a frosty from Wendy's! Sorry I forgot to take pictures but Haley would walk around to each one of us and take a bite off our spoons, she was hitting us all up for some ice cream. Once Haley is full her and Papa are off to the park and the tennis courts. Haley loves the tennis courts because she has all the freedom in the world (so she thinks). Now everywhere we go we have to bring a tennis ball with us because she likes to carry it around with her.
Last Friday night we also went out for Mexican (another one of Haley's favorites!)
This past weekend we went to Grandma and Papa's house to see their new kitchen and pay a visit to Kobe! Kobe loves Haley however she does not really appreciate his big kisses! After the initial greetings Kobe usually settles down and Haley can go about her business of exploring their backyard and front yard...LOL. Haley does love the new Rooster in the kitchen though! After Haley was exhausted she took a nice nap as we traveled up to Mimi and Grandpa's house. When she awoke she was full of energy. We are headed to Charlotte, NC this weekend to find out the sex of Haley's twin cousins!!! I forgot to mention that through our busy weekends Haley was actually pretty sick and even running a pretty high fever one day which we did keep her home! Come to find out though she had a bad cold that the rest of us ended up catching and i noticed yesterday that she has at least THREE molars coming in!!! Haley wouldn't let me look for the fourth one so I'm not sure about that one but the other three have just barely broken skin. Needless to say her chowing down has subsided for the time being :(

Growing up too quickly!

Haley is so excited about her twin cousins that are due September 2nd however they will probably arrive in August! She has been practicing feeding her baby, elmo, puppy, and anything else that she can stick a bottle in :) Although she is still very attached to her tag blanket she will even cover up her babies with it. She is growing up so quickly and doing so many things she just amazes us every day. Things are getting much easier now that she will say "Yes" or "No" when she wants something rather than us having to guess! I would have to say that "uh oh" and "Mimi" are her two favorite words right now. Mimi is my Mom so of course she is very excited that Haley now knows who she is and actually goes looking for her. Although Haley wouldn't do it in the video she LOVES to give Kylah a kiss...she will squat down in front of Kylah's face and make the kissing noise in hopes that Kylah might like her (yuck...I know but she loves her puppy!) As you can see though she has been working on saying Kylah and almost has it down pat now. Speaking of "Pat" one day we had on little einsteins and they were doing the "pat pat pat" song and all of a sudden Haley started saying "pat pat pat" and patting her self. I was amazed because that was something we had never showed her before. I guess kids actually do learn things from TV. Every morning Haley sits in our bed and drinks her milk while she watches her Brainy Baby DVD. The one that we have been watching lately is one about animals on a farm so Haley usually takes breaks while drinking her milk to point and tell us what each of the animals are well this morning she cracked us up because she pointed to the Gorilla and instead of saying monkey like usual she said "Dadda"! We couldn't stop laughing! Now when we ask her if she wants to watch her movie she says "E-I-E-I-O" from the Old McDonald song....i guess we have watched it a few times!
I know I probably shouldn't say anything but Haley has been eating like a champ lately! She ate almost a full grilled cheese sandwich for lunch today! Go Haley! She has been doing so good lately, so hopefully at her 18 month check up she will hit the 20lbs mark! We'll keep you posted on that but its 1 1/2 months away still. We took her to get Mexican tonight with Mimi, Grandpa, and Uncle Gary because Haley loves to eat rice and of course she has to get on the dance floor! This girl just loves to dance! Here is another video of her dancing at home and showing off her new moves!
