Christmas is almost here!!!

First I have to apologize but there are several pictures you are going to have to turn your head to see because for some reason even though these are facing the correct direction on my computer they upload sideways. A bit frustrating but I'm posting them anyways!

This Christmas season has been a VERY busy and exciting one! Haley is beyond excited about Santa, Christmas and Goo Goose (our Elf on the shelf) and Noah just feeds off of her excitement! He wakes up every morning standing in his crib saying Goo Goose! He can't wait to get downstairs to see where he is hiding that morning. It's a race between the kids ;-)

Haley watching her message from Santa!

Here’s the link to the PNP (Portable North Pole) where hopefully you can see the messages that Santa left for both of the kids this year!

First of many baking's this season! Haley, Noah,
Macy & Makayla made these little guys!

We picked out our perfect tree for this year!

Writing their letters to Santa!
Mailed off their letters to Santa!

Another picture while we were waiting to see Santa :-)

Here it is.....the official picture with Santa for 2012! The only way we even got Noah close to Santa was by telling him that Santa had candy! He walked right up, grabbed his candy and walked right back down. Luckily he turned around just enough so that they could snap the picture.

THANKS to Grandma & Papa our house is decorated and ready for Christmas! I am loving our yearly tradition of picking out our own Christmas tree, making chili and decorating our house for Christmas! What wonderful memories that we will always cherish. You can see from this picture that Goo Goose (our Elf on the shelf) is back!! Goo Goose brought Santa PJs, the Elf on the Shelf DVD, two stuffed Elves that they can touch and play with all year long and pulled out his book again! The kids were so excited to wake up to all these surprises and to see that Goo Goose had come back this year! You may not remember but Haley was SOOO sad last Christmas morning when she saw that Goo Goose had gone back to the North Pole with Santa after he left their presents. It was so sad, but we are very happy that he's back this year and he's been an active Elf this year!

Day 1 - Goo Goose reading the new Christmas Story
book Noah and Papa picked up this year.

Day 2 - Zip Lining Goo Goose! He even dropped the kids some snowflakes to play with!

Day 3 - Goo Goose is fishing for gold fish :-)
The kids wanted to eat his gold fish...ha

Day 4 - Goo Goose can Fly!

Day 5 - Marshmallow Bath and more snow
flakes per Haley's request!
Day 6 - Goo Goose made this count down to Christmas
day activity for the kids and left them some candy canes!

Day 6 - Days left till Christmas

Day 7 - Climbing Goo Goose ;-)

Day 8 - Goo Goose has stepped up his ride!

Day 9 - Goo Goose TP'd the kids doors...LOL!

Day 9 - The kids LOVED crawling under their TP'd door!
Had I known they were not going to bust through them i
would have asked Goo Goose to do this higher so that we
didn't all have to crawl under this all day long! Lesson learned ;-)

Day 10 - We are off to the Polar Express again this year!!!!!!!! Haley is SOOOO excited about this trip since she loves the movie Polar Express and she remembers our trip from last year! We can't wait!!!

Haley's 1st Christmas Party at school! It was precious!

Haley and I got to make our own Gingerbread houses!

My little baker was a huge help in the kitchen this year!

Haley and Noah got to spend an afternoon at the mall with Mimi and Grandpa!!! They rode the merry go round & the train! I'm sure it was more than once knowing these kiddos and how easily they can persuade their Grandparents!

Such sweet babies!

It's cookie making time at Mimi & Grandpa's house!!! The kids
had so much fun spending the full day and night at Mimi &
Grandpa's house, they are still talking about it!

I can't get over the look of excitement on Noah's face! Priceless!
Thank goodness Grandpa & Mimi snapped these pictures for me!

She was 4 weeks early but a healthy baby girl!!
Sheryl and Peyton both did fabulous during
labor and delivery! Both little troopers :-)

Just after Peyton was born!

Grandpa & Peyton when she was about 18hrs old!

Papa and Peyton!

Peyton and her Favorite Aunt! ;-) LOL sorry all you other Aunts out there of Peyton....HAHA we've already bonded...hehe.

Mommy & Daddy with their little girl Peyton!

Yay! Aunt Miss came to visit!

Poor Peyton spent like the first 10 days of her life on these dang jaundice lamps. I guess we really can't complain, with her being 4 weeks early and jaundice was her only issue and she was able to be at home with her Mommy & Daddy.......that's actually pretty amazing!

Told Ya.....we've already BONDED :-) Love my newest little niece!

Noah's 2yr & Haley 5 yr stats

Thanks to Corey’s excellent photography we had several pictures for our Christmas cards this year! We had so many to choose from and we couldn’t fit them all on our card so I figured I would post some additional ones to share with everyone on our blog.

Papa and I had the pleasure of taking Haley and Noah for their 5yr and 2yr checkups a week or so ago. This was supposed to be an easy check up because neither of them needed any shots!!! They were even able to get the flu mist so they didn’t even have a shot for that either! Piece of cake right??? Well Haley was a CHAMP and did everything she was supposed to do along with passing her vision and hearing tests. Noah on the other hand who is usually Mr. Cool when the ladies are around was doing great and having a good time sitting with Haley on the bed while the Dr. swapped back n forth checking their lungs, reflexes, eyes, nose, mouth, etc………….BUT when it came to checking Noah’s ears he FLIPPED out! It wasn’t the usual digging in his ear and scrapping out ear wax like we usually have to do to make sure his tubes are clear. It was just the basic “let’s look in your ears to see if there is anyone hiding in there”.  Noah continued to cry and stand by the door saying “go go go”. Not even Papa could calm this little guy down. Since he was still screaming I figured I might as well run him over to the lab and let them check his iron levels since they wanted to do that anyways. Well things only got worse. Noah was definitely that kid screaming bloody murder through the office while trying to pull off his band-aid. For some reason my kids HATE band-aids. Give them all the shots you want but don’t you dare put a band-aid on it. Once Noah ripped off his band-aid, his finger started to gush blood again and as he was trying to crawl away from me he was getting blood all over the floor. Crazy times for sure, but funny to think back on which is why I’m telling you guys all about it. It’s something I want to remember and I want to be sure to share with Noah when he gets older J All in all we survived and Thank goodness Papa decided to come with me to help out with these 2 kiddos!! Literally all this screaming was from having his ears looked at and a band-aid….wow!

Haley’s stats were:
Weight 33lbs (6%) – Up 1% from last year!!! Go Haley J
Height 41 inches (19%)

Noah’s stats were:
Weight 26.5lbs (45%)
Height 34 inches (32%)
Head 19 ¼ inches (68%)

Happy 2nd Birthday Noah!!!!! Wow this is one crazy little man, but we LOVE him more than we could ever express!! We are so thankful that God has blessed our family so much!! Noah’s actual Birthday night we celebrated at La Cazquela with Sher Sher, Haley, Macy, Makayla, Mimi, Grandpa (Papaw as Noah calls him), Papa & Grandma (Noah calls her Ma J). He has his own opinions on what people should be called….HA! He recently started calling Great Grandma (Great Ma). Such a character this little guy is. Noah’s 2nd B-Day Party was the weekend after Thanksgiving while all of his cousins were in town and what a better theme for this Mickey fanatic than Mickey Mouse?!?! Since it was a breakfast party the kids were able to enjoy Mickey Mouse pancakes and were able to decorate their own pancakes. We had whip cream, blue berries, raspberries, strawberries, banana’s, powdered sugar, etc. What kid wouldn’t like their very own decorated Mickey Mouse pancake??? All of these kiddos were chowing down!!

Ok I had to catch up on the beginning of November activities BUT my next post is going to be about Baby Peyton who was born on 11/27/12 at 1:11pm!!!!! She was 5.15oz, 19 ¾ inches long!! I LOVE this little girl so much already!!! Peyton and Mommy are both doing great!

I was accused of a baby hog but really I just think Peyton was just so comfy with me holding her that I didn't think she'd want me to hand her over to anyone else :-)
I will also soon try to post an update about the kids going to see Santa and all of our Christmas activities this year!
