That afternoon we went in for his 5yr old check up much to his surprise ;-)
5yr old Stats:
Weight: 32.4lbs (2%)
Height: 38.5in (0.9%)
BMI: 15 (48%)
Eyes with glasses: 20/25 (R), 20/40 (L)
Eyes without glasses: 20/25 (R), 20/32 (L)
Looks like we will be revisiting the eye dr since he can see better without his glasses =O
Brody gained 5lbs and grew 2inches since his 4 yr old check up!!! Dr Furr said she’s still keeping a close eye on him because obviously 2% weight and .90% height is not anywhere close to the 50% average they are comparing him against for other boys his age. She said once he turns 7 or 8 if he’s still this low % then we will go see an endocrinologist. For now we are just super excited with his progress!
Almost two hours at the dr office we had to get creative! Jumping games, catch with Garfield, etc....
Brody went on a field trip this past week with school!
