Can it really be that my baby is 4 years old!?!? How does this happen? I love every minute of watching him grow up and his excitement everyday all day for absolutely everything but gah Mommy’s heart just can’t take this! Brody is soooooo sweet and has such a caring and loving heart! This spring will be his first season of soccer! The other night Clayton went to go lay with Brody before bed time and as Clayton was laying down in his bed with him Brody asked “how was your day Daddy?” Clayton responded with “it was good Brody, Thank you for asking!” Then Brody leaned over and gave him a gentle kiss on the cheek and said “You’re the Best Daddy!” This is a good example of Brody’s personality. He’s always caring about others and always hugs us and says “you’re the best Mommy” or “Haley you’re the best!” So sweet! He loves Noah too and I really think he wants to be just like his big brother. He will repeat and play with his toys the exact same way Noah does. Brody LOVES loves his Koda!!
It’s a transformer kind of 4 year old Birthday this year!!! Brody absolutely loves transformers (I’m sure because Noah does!). He is all worried about having to get a 4 year old check up so he has decided he doesn’t want to get any older and he doesn’t want a Birthday or a Birthday party. He did finally agree to have a “party” but not a b day party and you can’t say Happy Birthday or sing Happy Birthday to him. Crazy boy!
Haley hid candy and special notes inside of Brody’s birthday balloons in his room that he woke up to his birthday morning =DSince we can’t have a Birthday party Brody did agree that he wanted to go to LEGO Land just the 5 of us so that’s exactly what we did! We were there to open the store up!
Brody also got to go to his friend Rhett’s b day party at Chuckie Cheese!
Of course Brody chose none other than Steak n Shake for his “party dinner” location. Mmmm Mommys favorite haha not!!! Brody does love their Mac n cheese and strawberry milk shakes.
A very special 4 year old cake!!! Good thing he can’t read the “Birthday” in the cake lol!
We were allowed to say “make a wish!” That was it.... Whatever works he was a happy 4 year old!!!
To top off the night the kids got to see a real fire truck up close and in person that night as it pulled up to the house directly across the street from us. Thankfully as far as we know no one was hurt and the ambulance was called off on its way over.
