Brody’s 4th Birthday!!!

Can it really be that my baby is 4 years old!?!? How does this happen? I love every minute of watching him grow up and his excitement everyday all day for absolutely everything but gah Mommy’s heart just can’t take this! Brody is soooooo sweet and has such a caring and loving heart! This spring will be his first season of soccer! The other night Clayton went to go lay with Brody before bed time and as Clayton was laying down in his bed with him Brody asked “how was your day Daddy?” Clayton responded with “it was good Brody, Thank you for asking!” Then Brody leaned over and gave him a gentle kiss on the cheek and said “You’re the Best Daddy!” This is a good example of Brody’s personality. He’s always caring about others and always hugs us and says “you’re the best Mommy” or “Haley you’re the best!” So sweet! He loves Noah too and I really think he wants to be just like his big brother. He will repeat and play with his toys the exact same way Noah does. Brody LOVES loves his Koda!!

It’s a transformer kind of 4 year old Birthday this year!!! Brody absolutely loves transformers (I’m sure because Noah does!). He is all worried about having to get a 4 year old check up so he has decided he doesn’t want to get any older and he doesn’t want a Birthday or a Birthday party. He did finally agree to have a “party” but not a b day party and you can’t say Happy Birthday or sing Happy Birthday to him. Crazy boy!

Haley hid candy and special notes inside of Brody’s birthday balloons in his room that he woke up to his birthday morning =DSince we can’t have a Birthday party Brody did agree that he wanted to go to LEGO Land just the 5 of us so that’s exactly what we did! We were there to open the store up!

Brody also got to go to his friend Rhett’s b day party at Chuckie Cheese!

Of course Brody chose none other than Steak n Shake for his “party dinner” location. Mmmm Mommys favorite haha not!!! Brody does love their Mac n cheese and strawberry milk shakes.

A very special 4 year old cake!!! Good thing he can’t read the “Birthday” in the cake lol!

We were allowed to say “make a wish!” That was it.... Whatever works he was a happy 4 year old!!!

To top off the night the kids got to see a real fire truck up close and in person that night as it pulled up to the house directly across the street from us. Thankfully as far as we know no one was hurt and the ambulance was called off on its way over.

Another 1st Place and Zero Deductions for these girls! AND Mother/Son dinner with just Noah!!!

SOOOOOOO proud of Haley!! She’s been working super hard to get her standing back handspring and round off back handspring and got to throw both of them in the routine this weekend and did awesome!!!!!

After the exciting day at Cheerleading downtown all day with Haley, Noah agreed earlier that morning to go on a dinner date with just me! He chose Mexican =D Makes us both happy! We had a great night just talking about life and hanging out with no other interruptions! I didn’t snap a picture that night but the next day when Noah and I were having to peddle our bikes on the ride at LEGO Land he said this is a good Mother/Son activity! Sometimes it’s just nice to take that extra time (even when you don’t have it) and spend quality time with each child! Next up.....Brody’s b day tomorrow morning and his big special day!

January is here along with the cold and craziness never stops!!

It’s been forever since we visited Barnes and Noble so one cold Sunday day I took all kids there to read books and play with the train set! Scary enough there was randomly a 3 year old boy that was attempted kidnapping at the same time we were there =O

I can’t believe that would happen at this nice location but goes to show it can happen anywhere and anytime. His dad was right there too and stopped the guy thank goodness! We didn’t know anything had happen until after we left but we did see the police there and they had parked right next to us so of course the boys were talking all about the police and his car. It was still a fun day with the kids though and thank goodness we had no idea this was happening while we were there!

Cheer Board and Cosches end of season party making signs!

Cheer Board! Missing Mandi Charles!

This kid is no joke! He loves loves this truck!!

Noah’s first year playing basketball!! So glad he’s doing a winter sport he needs it! Soccer and flag football start again the weekend basket ball ends! This time Brody and Haley get to play soccer too but of corse all 3 kids are at different soccer programs due to their skill level and wanting to play with friends.

Thank you Mimi and Grandpa for taking the kids last weekend for a sleepover and a movie and the next day to Get Air!! Little did we know with Presidents Day and then 2 super super cold snow/ice days ahead they would be stuck in the house all week and out of school so much!

Haley wrote this at school!

Koda’s playing transformers with Brody =D

Our ice then snow on top days!! It was sooooo cold and crazy gusts of wind on top of it none of the kids got to enjoy this.

Fun dinner nights while we all go stir crazy inside!

And then Noah lost his tooth just like that haha

Ok so Haley and Noah’s School was still closed but at least Brody’s was going to open at 10am and then at 12:16pm we got this text from the school! Seriously??? Turns out the fire sprinklers in the ceiling pipe busted so the entire school has to be remediate from ceilings to floors =O. Gahhhh so now Brody has to go to one of the sister schools until his old school that is right down the street from us is fixed. Bummer!!!!! No wonder people don’t Love winter months....
