This group was on our side too!
And the Voting GIRL group was:
And we were right!!! Yayyyy for more Boys in this family!! Noah told Brody "I really hope it's a Boy! Then you will have a little friend, buddy!" What a fun way to come home from our trip!
The next morning we were headed straight to the Dr as we had 3 sick kids most of the trip but we just through ear infections. Well that's been too easy....strep was more appropriate :O Haha you wouldn't know from the picture but Haley was the sick one, Brody's came back negative...LOL. Was very nice of Haley to share that with me just before my 13.1 mile half marathon that weekend.
That's ok I like to think we Moms have to push through so much in life that a little strep throat with what felt like the flu was not going to hold me back from my first half marathon. Popped some Advil for the headache and a throat numbing drop just before the race and it was on! Just another day as a Mommy!
Yay I survived!! The kids were quite impressed with my medal and Noah kept wanting to wear it and know how I got it ;-) I told him I had to run really fast to try to beat as many people as possible and so I didn't miss either of their soccer games!
I made it to both games and got to see this little stud:-D it was actually a pretty cold and windy day! Even around mile 11 I was thinking at times "man I'm still a little cold"
And now back to reality hahaha! The boys chilling in the middle of the floor while waiting for dinner to cook!
Brody just hanging out waiting for his breakfast Tuesday morning with Papa!
And later he was sipping on his "coffee" he said! Mmmmm good coffee, he'd say! This boy is growing up Wayyyy to fast and talks like a 3 year old with full sentences that you can actually understand!
Swim lessons have started and this time it's for all 3 kids!!! Thank goodness Peggy is amazing and can handle all 3 at one time!
The second lesson he thought it'd be better if he decided to eat (finally) but during swim lessons. He wanted to wear all the gear but just wasn't ready again that day.
The 3rd practice he cried some but then did really well and probably got in about 30 min total including diving for some dive sticks with Peggy! Sorry no pictures as I was trying to encourage him he was ok with Peggy and Haley and Noah.
After a busy busy week with Clayton in TX for work and me in the office near ATL for work and tumbling, piano, soccer, and swimming lessons what better way to spend Friday night than a garbage bowl created by the kids and movie night!?!?
Brody's garbage bowl was lucky charms!
Theirs is popcorn with some candy in there! After a crazy week and them being elk behaved this was a great treat for them!
Sunday after church and before small group....car washing time!!
And now it's time to start the week again!
