Spring/Summer activities!!

The day we returned from the beach we pulled in the driveway on two wheels basically rolled all of the kids and our stuff out as fast as possible, ran through the grocery store for the week and pulled everyone together all cleaned up just in time to make it to Sheryl & Ryan's gender reveal party for baby #2!!!!!!! As you can see our entire family was voting this sweet baby was going to be a BOY!!

This group was on our side too!

And the Voting GIRL group was:

And we were right!!! Yayyyy for more Boys in this family!! Noah told Brody "I really hope it's a Boy! Then you will have a little friend, buddy!" What a fun way to come home from our trip!

The next morning we were headed straight to the Dr as we had 3 sick kids most of the trip but we just through ear infections. Well that's been too easy....strep was more appropriate :O Haha you wouldn't know from the picture but Haley was the sick one, Brody's came back negative...LOL. Was very nice of Haley to share that with me just before my 13.1 mile half marathon that weekend.

That's ok I like to think we Moms have to push through so much in life that a little strep throat with what felt like the flu was not going to hold me back from my first half marathon. Popped some Advil for the headache and a throat numbing drop just before the race and it was on! Just another day as a Mommy!

Yay I survived!! The kids were quite impressed with my medal and Noah kept wanting to wear it and know how I got it ;-) I told him I had to run really fast to try to beat as many people as possible and so I didn't miss either of their soccer games!

I made it to both games and got to see this little stud:-D it was actually a pretty cold and windy day! Even around mile 11 I was thinking at times "man I'm still a little cold"

And now back to reality hahaha! The boys chilling in the middle of the floor while waiting for dinner to cook!

Brody just hanging out waiting for his breakfast Tuesday morning with Papa!

And later he was sipping on his "coffee" he said! Mmmmm good coffee, he'd say! This boy is growing up Wayyyy to fast and talks like a 3 year old with full sentences that you can actually understand!

Swim lessons have started and this time it's for all 3 kids!!! Thank goodness Peggy is amazing and can handle all 3 at one time!

Brody wa good for one full lap that first lesson and the he was done!

The second lesson he thought it'd be better if he decided to eat (finally) but during swim lessons. He wanted to wear all the gear but just wasn't ready again that day.

The 3rd practice he cried some but then did really well and probably got in about 30 min total including diving for some dive sticks with Peggy! Sorry no pictures as I was trying to encourage him he was ok with Peggy and Haley and Noah.

After a busy busy week with Clayton in TX for work and me in the office near ATL for work and tumbling, piano, soccer, and swimming lessons what better way to spend Friday night than a garbage bowl created by the kids and movie night!?!?

Brody's garbage bowl was lucky charms!

Theirs is popcorn with some candy in there! After a crazy week and them being elk behaved this was a great treat for them!

Sunday after church and before small group....car washing time!!

And now it's time to start the week again!

SGI (Day 6 & 7)

Day 6:
Good morning again!!

Papa, Haley and Noah bikes to breakfast again and then stopped at the lighthouse to play on the playground and hike 92 steps to the top! Noah says this was his favorite part of the trip!

Interesting what you will find on a morning walk on the beach....

The kids found starfish!!

Our annual picture!

Brody wasn't afraid of anything he marched right over and was about 1/2 inch from picking up this blowfish that came to see him before I grabbed his hand :-O

A fun warm day!!

No better way to nap than a walk on the beach listening to the ocean waves and smelling the salty air!

An 8 mile round trip bike ride to the end of the island....St George Island State Park! Papa graciously turned back around with Noah so their trip was only about 6 miles since Papa had already biked to the end on a previous day. We for sure earned our ice cream this night!

It was a very windy ride back which made those 4 miles HARD! Haley learned how to rest her legs a little by standing between a few cycles

We made it back to Aunt Ebbys ice cream shop for extra big scoops tonight!

Brody actually ate over half of that cup!!! He usually takes a few nipples and is done so this was huge!

Day 7:
Told ya....these sun rises were just amazing every day!

Found some BIG shells too!

Made it to the State Park from the beach side and found lots of big shells for our collection!

Treasure hunt with our metal detector! Noah found money!

A different way of play boche ball :-)

A little dinner paper rock sissors competition to see who got the cherry from their very first virgin strawberry daiquiris!!

We had a fabulous week at SGI!! Can't wait to do it again!!

Day 8:
We never missed a sunrise not even on our way home! Last sunrise till next time!

A stop at DD and we are headed back to reality :-( :-( :-(
Brody keeps saying turn around, turn around....I got to Papa house at the beach?!?! We all couldn't agree more...we want to go back!!!
