Honoring a VERY special girl on our squad that fought a very difficult battle with cancer beginning at 18 months and WIN!!! McKenna is one strong little girl as are her parents and family!! CURE chose this particular day to honor McKenna so we carried it on through practice that night wearing our gold shirts, gold hair bows, gold cupcakes for child cancer awareness month! Each of the girls made homemade cards and gifts to give to McKenna too!! So beautiful the way these girls support each other at such a young age!

A morning to finally just chill and enjoy their toys, baby dolls and strollers too :-)

All the kids together for our Married Couples bible study small group! We are so blessed to be able to go through life with all of its craziness with all these special people in our lives! (The adults and the kids!)

Brody's 1st official haircut!

He did it!!! Brody's first full haircut! He had his very first trimming in Oct 2014 while in Disney World but he needed a real haircut all over...plus that was a year ago! 

Brody did great and sat super still while watching a video of himself terrorizing Noah and Haley!

Thank goodness Papa was along so I could talk with the lady and hold Brody's movie while Brody sat on Papas lap!!

We brought the whole gang for support :-)

Brody's 20 month weight check up

This snuggle bug gained only 1lb in past two months but thank God he held onto his 3% so we just come back at 2yr appt and pray he's had a growth spurt! 

No more pacifiers for Brody!!!!!

Awe he's growing up on me :-( :-(

Soooo guess who no longer has pacifiers?!?! 😜 He was obsessed with it yesterday all day long and wouldn't let me take it at all during the day so last night at bed time I decided that it couldn't be good for his teeth or his speech in the long run and i had to do it soon before he knew it was missing and could throw a full on fit for it so I decided to try to put him to bed without it. It went great!!! He didn't ask for it or look for it at all today even for nap or again at bed time!!! I packed them all up last night too so hopefully he doesn't stumble across one but I think I have them all.

Of course I keep praying for God to make this easy for all of us!

Oh and Noah was not pleased with me about this! I told him last night Brody went to bed without it and when he saw him this morning not to mention it. He said "well Momma! UGH why did u take them away? He wants those! I'm going to go buy him a new one!" 

Finally after a full 35 min conversation/debate and me bribing Noah that he and Brody would both get hot wheel cars for being a supportive big Brother and for Brody being a big boy he agreed to it! He said he was going to give Brody one of his too for giving up his pacifiers!

I finally asked him "Noah....why are you the one so worried about this??? Brody is the one that won't have it anymore and this is the same thing we did for you and Haley and you guys didn't mind did you?" He said "UGH Momma....your not listening to me....just don't take them away, put them in the box by his diapers and just see if he still wants them then!" I had to tell him we think Brody will just forget about them so we don't want to say or show them to him. He never did fully agree but I said that's the deal and good night! 

STL here we come!!

Noah couldn't decide Cardinals or Braves so he wore Cardinals underneath the Braves LOL.

So that top picture wasn't wonderful but it was decent considering this was the real life of getting that family picture ;-)

Noah didn't want his picture taken and Clayton was getting hot attempting to take the picture so he was over it as well. Luckily Papa was able to snap the one above before everyone started whining...ha.

The morning of our trip Haley decided since I had made her and Noah breakfast she and Noah would make Brody and myself breakfast. They tried to make daddy's too but he wanted eggs and thought it was best to not let them cook those by themselves just yet. I'm impressed with both mine and Brodys healthy spread they made!

He kept saying "Momma, let me just tell you...I'm just a little bit scared!" He has flew before but he was only 22 months old and doesn't remember it. 

Both kids did amazing caring their book bags and suitcases our entire trip! Usually I'm a packed mule hauling everyone's luggage. This was a great change! 

Oh and the excitement of putting his Spider-Man suitcase on the conveyer belt to send to the plane was so much fun!! They waived good bye to it and followed it all the way down till it went through that opening below. 

Again Noah was very apprehensive about going through the big security scanner that you lift your arms up for. The entire time we were in the line he couldn't stop obsessing and worrying about it. Thank God they heard all of this and let me carry him through the smaller one and he was just fine! Haley of course was trying to tell him how cool and easy it was. 

Off to the train ride to the gate!  Now this was fun!

She's a frequent flyer ;-) Knows the drill! 

There's our plane!!! And Madi, Melissa, Mimi and Grandpa came and visited us at our gate before getting on their plane! 

Now this Pilot was amazing and is probably why Noahs flight went so smooth...we saw him while getting our lunch in the terminal and he saw us telling Noah "looks there's a real pilot just like Uncle Gary!" He came over and talked to Noah and I briefly mention his nervousness about flying and he told Noah how fun and easy it is and was going to be, etc! We waived bye and headed to our gate. About 10-15 min later this Delta pilot in the Southwest terminal came and found us at our gate and brought all 3 kids Delta Wings!! 

Noah especially but all of the kids really were SOOOOO proud of these wings!! The pilot told him look now you have wings just like me and pointed to his own wings. Noah said "Thank you Sir!" 

Well after all that Noah was officially prepared for his flight!

Off to the Avis bus! 

I swear there are pictures of us kids on this Avis bus from when we were kids just like this! Off to see Sally and Laney...

What a great way to kick off our STL trip after being on a train, airplane, bus and a rental car by heading straight to Pasta House for dinner with Sis, Ma and John!! Even more perfect timing was that it was also Sis's B Day! HAPPY BIRTHDAY Sis!!!

Oh my goodness these kids were in heaven!!! 4 girls and 3 boys duking it out all night with swords, ninja masks, bouncy house, games of tag, etc!! Finally Noah had some boys on his side :D THANK YOU Rachel and Cory for opening your house up to all of us crazy monkeys and your hospitality! Noah said as we were going to bed at midnight that night "this is the BEST DAY!" 

A quick movie and popcorn break before some 11pm boy playtime again! 

Cracker Barrell breakfast with Dad/Pa and Pa/Great Pa! We got to celebrate this young looking mans 80th b day! Still a spring chicken! 

Back to our old stomping grounds...Grants Farm!!

Some aggressive goats for their bottles but Haley and Macy (not pictured, that's Makayla) were loving every minute of it! They could have stayed there all day!

Noah did not like feeding the goats but feeding the birds with Grandpa was much more his pace..ha!

Again Noah was "just a little bit scared!" To ride the pony but he did so good overcoming his fears this trip and wanted to go again! So proud of him!

How perfect that they had a parade at the capital that day! The kids were loaded up with half a grocery bag of candy! Laney was a big help in this too ;-)

Central Dairy ice cream came to us during the parade! One less trip for us!

The girls and Blake entered into a sidewalk chalk contest while we were at the Sports Bars watching the football games.

I finally got a picture of Sally and Laney! This is a task I tell you!

In bed again after midnight and then up the next day to head back to ATL! This time Haley wanted to check her bookbag too so she could watch it through the process too! Security went much better and Noah had no fears this time! 

Such helpers carrying their items all the way to economy parking! Noah kept saying he could carry it all and even added Haley's bookbag to his back after this picture. I told him what a gentlemen he was being carrying a girls luggage!

Now I've gotta take a minute and do some serious bragging on Papa who graciously offered to keep Brody 4 days at home while we enjoy a much easier trip with just Haley and Noah! Brody absolutely loves his Papa so we knew if we had given Brody the option of going on our crazy trip or staying with Papa... hands down he'd say Papa "Bapa" in Brodys true words ;-) It sounded like these boys had the best weekend together! Walks to the park, trips to Home Depot, grocery store, and....

...relaxing on the almost finished screened in porch....

...and Papa even took Brody to Sheryl's house for a play date with Peyton!!

I had mentioned how crazy our schedules are each week but I failed to tell you how busy Papa's schedule is just helping us out with all 3 kids! He still watches Brody every Tuesday and Thursday and picks Noah up from school on Mon and Thur and keeps both boys while I take Haley to cheerleading practice until Clayton gets home from work! Next Tuesday's after watching Brody all day he's off to Noahs soccer practice. Saturday's he's at both soccer and football games and you can almost bet Noahs going to request and get a sleepover at Papas house! THANK You Papa for everything you do to be there for the kids in every way possible and allowing us to be so engaged in their activities verses just having to drop them off and head to the next event.
