Headed home =(
We are sure going to miss being together as a family all day everyday and seeing all of our cousins and aunts, uncles, Mimi and Grandpa all day and night!! It's so wonderful that even with our huge family that we were all able to stay in the same beach house all week together so we could see everyone anytime we wanted! Amazingly even with 11 kids all ranging from 1-10 years old that there really wasn't any fighting or arguing going on. All the kids played together the ENTIRE week! No seperate groups or boys vs girls....just full on play time from sunrise to past sunset!
Haley and I decided to soak it all in and go for one final sunrise walk on the beach looking for sand dollars....Makayla and Mandy did each find one earlier in the week and a star fish.
Everyone's not all that excited but we do have the car completely jammed packed full and are headed home.
We must end our vacation like we started it so a stop at Dunkin Donuts was a must!
While I was inside getting breakfast the kids were busy making forts in the car ;-)
Now...5 hours in the car! Wish us luck we will need it!!!
Day 6 - last full day
Last full day at the beach and the sand castle is complete!
Haley and Makayla got the kites flying!
Brodys foot print in the sand
Brodys last nap/walk on the beach! He's sure going to miss these!
Peyton gave Brody all of her pacifiers!!! Go Peyton, such a Big Girl!!!
A little walk on the beach while we waited for our food to come...
Happy boys headed back home to the pool and beach again!
While dinner was cooking Haley and I decided to go shopping for flip flops and hermit crabs for she and Noah! We are coming home with Madelyn and Batman =DDay 5
Whew look at that sun....gonna be a hot one!! We don't mind!
Haha look at our little groups of 2 all over
Noahs got his kite going!
Noah wrote his name in the sand
Look at all these fish daddy caught Noah!
Madi and Peyton!
What they do best!
Day 4
Everyday is a beautiful morning in Hilton Head!
It's looking good!
Before we could start our beach day Brody and I made a quick trip to the urgent care for and told the Dr.....my ears hurt...
And my nose is running green =O
Momma was right...ear infection it was! Got some strong antibiotics and on our way to the beach for our daily nap!Brody napped while the other kids played in the water!
Thebkids ALWAYS had energy at the end of the day and early mornings for pool time!Several attempts at family pictures and our yearly picture of the kids with their name and age. Brody was not at all interested in this and had his own plans...
