Happy 1st Birthday Baby Boy!!!!

Happy Happy Birthday sweet Brody! You are the sweetest little snuggly boy! So far you are only saying Dadda, Momma, and Dis? (What's this). Haley and Noah love you more than words could ever say and this little note proves it!

I have no idea how the 3 of you have formed this amazing bond at such young ages but you all amaze me with the amount of love you have for one another. So special!!

While we kept Brody's party small it still turned out great! Since Brody had his first visit to Disney world this year and had his first haircut in Disney we thought it was only appropriate for him to have his first birthday Mickey themed! Oddly enough Haley had a Minnie/Mickey party when she was 3yr, Noah had Mickey at 2yr and now Brody at 1yr! 

While he's still not a fan of cake I have to say we gave it our all. We tried the cake first, then offered a Mickey cookie (which he broke apart and smashed into his cake) and a fork....no luck!! Oh well we prefer healthy eating anyways ;-)

I just love this silly boy...he keeps life entertaining!

Brandon gave Brody a gift just from him....so sweet! He made him a card and gave him a little shark that he loves to carry around with him!

Brody's Tube surgery is DONE!

Alright lady lets get down to business! I want the best of the best Dr here and I want it done quickly PLEASE! =) Let me see what you are doing back there.....what's your process? Who's managing it?? Hahaha he's ready for the business world! Seriously he was all into this check in process! 

It all started pretty good! We had to be there by 7:15am (no food or drinks after midnight!) for his 9:15am surgery. 

He even got a new toy!

He actually went in at 9am and I prayed all morning and all the way back to the room as I carried him to be layed down on the table for the anesthesia mask! God answered my prayers! He was asleep by 9am and back in our room by 9:07am! Those 7 min took forever to me and I couldn't even imagine being a parent of a child who has surgeries for hours and hours! 

He was cranky cranky and very limp when they handed him to me. I was able to get him to drink which I think helped a ton. More the comfort than anything. 

Headed home!!!

He's still coming out of it but doing pretty good. VERY sleepy and sleepy the whole way home....fingers crossed! 

He's now at home sleeping peacefully in his bed!

Big THANK YOU to Papa for coming to the house at 6am today to get Haley on the bus and Noah to school! Looks like Noah made a detour on the way to school..... =) 

Brody's 1year check up

Looks like Brody is still in the middle of Haley and Noah as it relates to size. So far I don't think he's going to be the biggest boy in his class...ha! He did do very well at his appointment for the most part and Dr confirmed even after 6 days of antibiotics that both his ears were still half full of fluid so =( That was actually helpful for me to hear though as it confirmed tube surgery was the best thing for him! He got 3 shots and was very proud of his band-aids...lol. See....=)

Brody 1 year stats:

Weight 17.11lbs (4.61%)

Length 28 1/4 (3%??)

Head 18 1/4 (59.29%)

Noah was our big boy and his stats at 1 yr old was:

Weight 21.8 (58%)

Length 30.5 (75%)

Head 18.25 (58.7%)

Haley's 1yr stats:

Weight 16.2 (not on the charts, neg) 

Height 29.5

I love that each one of our babies are so different! They each have their VERY  own personalities and each bring such unique characteristics to our family! That's what makes our life so much fun!

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY BRODY!!!!!

Brody started off his birthday morning wondering who in the world put all this junk in his bed....he wanted out!!

Next Brody spotted his ball pit!! I'd say he liked it =D

He must have worn himself out because I out him in his crib just to lay down and play a little while I got myself dressed for his b day breakfast and I looked over and he was PASSED out! 

I decided no way was he sleeping through his b day breakfast with Peyton and Aunt Sheryl so I woke him up and off we headed! He must have known where we were going because he work up very happy! 

That's right baby boy....you are officially ONE years old today!

Momma could eat you up!!!! I LOVE you more than you will know!

That was a great big NO to the donut!

Best Birthday Breakfast ever!!!

Later that afternoon I tried to snap some pictures of Brody eating his first cake and it actually looked like he might be interested......

Brodys having his official party this Saturday but we did do cupcakes with Hey and Noah that night after dinner to celebrate. Brody loves it when you sing him happy birthday! He just eats up all that attention! I think Haley and Noah were more excited about Brody turning 1 than he was. Noah woke up that morning  and said "Mommy Brodys 1yr now! Let's go see how much he grew!" When he saw him he said "Momma, he's not walking???" I had to explain that just because he turned one over night most babies don't wake up walking that morning...lol. Oh these sweet babies!

After the birthday song was done so was Brody! He had had it with that cupcake and wanted his bed!! Not to mention he caught a cold and has 2 really bad ear infections he's dealing with too but really he had been a trooper through it all! Tubes are schedule for 2 days after his b day 1/23/15. 

His balloons did cheer him up again though =)

HAPPY HAPPY Birthday Brody!!! We couldn't have asked God for a more special person to be added to our lives! You bring more joy and happiness to our family than we could ever have imagined! The bond that you have with Haley and Noah is just amazing! They are both beyond OBSESSED with you and constantly want to be with and touching you! Noah told me yesterday morning while you were both laying in bed with me that "Brody is the coolest baby ever and I'm so happy that he's MY baby brother!!"
