Christmas Day.....so blessed!!!

Naturally Haley was the first to wake up! Noah was excited when he first climbed out of bed to see if Santa had come but by the time he made it to the stairs he was crying. He's not at all a morning person. Definitely like his Daddy, Haley and I like to enjoy our full days :-)

Haley said this was the best Christmas Ever!! She had dreamed up this bunk bed for her American Girl dolls and Santa and his helper actually made this beautiful bed for her!!!!!! Plus Mimi and Grandpa got her the 2nd American Girl doll that she really wanted! We had one super excited little girl today!!

The kids were very excited to see what Goo Goose had left them before he took off with Santa back to the North Pole until next year! Snow Angel out of pancake mix and cookies cutters to decorate their own pancakes for breakfast!! Yuummm!!

After seeing what Goo Goose had left them they wanted to re watch their videos from Santa!

Such a wonderful and exciting morning!! Not a bit relaxing but fun!!

See what happens when you have an older Sister???? :-D

No worries.....little brothers always get their sisters back..... ;-D

Wow even the kids were exhausted by 8:30am....LOL

After regrouping we headed to Mimi and Grandpa's house for more food and games!! We also got to spend Madi's very first Christmas with her!!

To wrap up Christmas Day Haley FINALLY lost her first tooth!!!!! It's been soooooo loose for a while now and she was adamant that she was not pulling it out and was going to let it fall out on its own. As she was eating a bowl of peaches it fell out! That's how loose it was! She's now racing off to bed so that the tooth fairy can come visit her tonight :-D

Christmas Eve 2013!!

Christmas Eve started with a very quiet morning for me relaxing on the couch very early in the morning enjoying nothing but our Christmas tree lights while everyone else was sleeping! Much needed before all the upcoming activities start this week!

After enjoying a wonderful Lunch with both of our families we all headed out to the Christmas Eve candle lit church service. Such a special time for our families to be together and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas.
Of course we couldn't leave the house before opening just 1 present from Mimi and Grandpa :-)

After church the long awaited Christmas present opening began!!!! The kids were very patient all day and were ready to get started!

Wow that's a LOT of presents!!

This must have been a very serious question...ha! Maybe he was asking to use Daddy's new blower ;-)

Christmas Eve was complete after putting Santa's milk, cookies and carrots out. Yes, that's chocolate milk....Haley always says that's Santa's favorite :-) And a final bedtime story "The Christmas Story" reading from Papa.

Off to bed to await Santa's arrival!!!!

We are having so much fun these days!

Goo goose has continued to be a busy little Elf every night! This was the night we returned from Polar Express....he wanted the kids to make a gingerbread house :-)

Of course they did! It turned out great and then as soon as the last piece of candy was put on the house they wanted to start eating it! Oh well....I guess that's what it's for after all!

Next up....Goo Goose fishing for gold fish

From one of my favorite Christmas movies...."Elf"...2 main food groups, candy and syrup :-D

Christmas parties at Haley and Noah's school!

Santa hat treats for Noah's party!

Goo Goose is at it again.....

They loved making their muffins! Safety first Noah says before making his muffins...ha!

Thanks to the Hills for his new found obsession with his goggles and tools!

They are necessary for trips to the mall with Daddy and doing work around the house with Daddy! Ah and Noah calls his hammer his "knocker" :-) So funny!

Safety first even before heading out for church Sunday morning on a rainy day!

Goo Goose was prepping us for some more Christmas baking!!!

A Birthday cake for Jesus!!! The whole reason we even get to celebrate this amazing holiday!!! It was so exciting to watch the kids making this cake and understand what it really meant. Hoping this becomes a yearly tradition for us! We even lit the candles and let them sing Happy Birthday to Jesus, so sweet!

More gingerbread cookies :-)

Rudolph cookies!

Yummy desserts!! We made 3 containers full if these!

Goo Goose's 2nd to last night before he flies back home with Santa on Christmas morning

We ended our night tonight with the best Christmas game ever....Santa Bingo!!! This is a very special game that my siblings and I used to play year round with Ma and John! It's the best ever and perfect for our kids too!

Last but not least is Goo Goose's last morning with us....I'm sure he will leave a special surprise for the kids on Christmas morning too ;-)

Merry Christmas Eve!!!
