Beautiful weekend!

This was the perfect weekend for a pick if at the kids favorite park!
After lunch and lots of play time on the play grounds we ended the day with a beautiful nature trail walk with the kids.
Of course we had to let them run the last part of the walk to get the rest of their energy out ;-)

I also wanted to post a picture and an update from Noah's 2nd day at his new school....
He had a GREAT day!! He was sitting next to his little friend when I got there to pick him up and didn't even run over to me. He said he wanted to stay and eat his snack :-) Now that's my normal Noah! As he left he waived to all his new friends and said bye. Makes us sooooo happy!!! He also told me he was glad I left him at school so he could have so much fun :-D
Noah had regressed with his potty training but after school on Friday did both his business all by himself without even telling me!! Such a good day for him! He's definitely getting his confidence back again!! He did excellent with potty training all weekend long too! So proud of him! He seems to think he's on top of the world and getting into all his usual mischief again!
And look who we caught trying to steal a tootsie roll last night....crazy monkey!

Noah had his very first night at soccer!! He's on the mini kickers team for 3yr olds and did AWESOME!!! He absolutely loved it and didn't want it to end. I told him we'd be back next Friday! So proud of him!!!

Haley's on her way into her football/cheerleading game this morning! She hates getting dressed but really seems to enjoy it once she is there!

Noah's new school!!!

As of Monday 9/23/13 Noah longer goes to his old school. It's a long story that I'm not going to post about but wanted to share pictures of this Big Man on his first day of school at his new school! I also snapped a picture of him on the way home when he was all smiles telling me all about his day!! We couldn't be more happy about this change and looking forward to Brody joining Noah at this school in March 2014! Thank you God for guiding us to make this decision when we did!

Noah is MUCH happier now and even seems to be resting much better now too! Of course he was snuggled up with Mommy too :-D

The fun hasn't stopped in September......we have been one active family!

Our little flyer!!! As much as she didn't want to be the flyer she is actually good at it! Sorry Haley, it's in your genes to be a flyer......enjoy ;-)

Haley and Emma doing their pony sit! Great job ladies!!

A full day and night with Mimi and Grandpa!!! The kids couldn't have had more fun and Mommy and Daddy sure appreciated a little down time! Thanks Grandpa and Mimi for spoiling the kids for us :-D

Train rides.....one of their favorite activities!

Another fun day at Monkey Joe's with Grandpa! Grandpa took the kids after church one sunday to the park, lunch at their favorite place (IHOP) and then to Monkey Joe's!! What a fun filled day! Turns out this happen to be on Grandparent's Day :-D

Summer fun.....the kids first time fishing! They even had their own fishing poles! Noah has a batman pole and Haley's is Barbie. Thanks to MaryKatherine and Wills for passing these down to them!

Haley caught a BIG ONE! But it took the hook and all and got away :-(

She waited very patiently to catch another big fish but no luck. We'll try again soon though!

Other fun family activities from September!

Beautiful day for a family day of Apple Picking at the Farm!!!
Noah is loving bears ever
since we visited the zoo :-)

It was a wonderful family day at the Apple Farm!

We love our Family! Noah was hiding behind Daddy in this picture....silly little guy ;-)

Noah had the perfect apple picked out but it was just a tiny bit out of reach for him. Thanks Daddy for the lift!

Nothing like hot dogs, soft pretzels,
cold apple cider, home made
lemonade, and potato fries from a farm :-)

These were the coolest bikes ever!! I think Noah and Brody DEFINITELY need these! Maybe Santa?!?!

Look at that big smile :-D I just love it!

Nothing like a rope swing :-)

I think he was a bit intimidated but
wasn't going to show it.

We couldn't get the kids off of this slide, they were loving it!

Picture dump from our trip to St. Louis (Noah's first time) & an update on Baby #3

Brody Michael at 19wks ultrasound!!! Dr. said that his anatomy looks perfect and he's growing like a champ! He's still measuinrg a day bigger and had the hiccups so he was bouncy all over. We saw him moving his hands and feet all over the place too :-D Such a sweet baby boy already! We can't wait to meet this little guy!

Haley and Noah's very first trip to the St. Louis, MO zoo!!! Clayton and I used to go there as kids and what a special treat it was to be able to take Haley and Noah there as well! They LOVED it so much and wanted to go back the next day! We had to pry Noah away from each animal that we saw just so we could try to make it through the entire park. He was amazed!

On our way into the zoo with Grandma and Papa! I have to say what a TROOPER Grandma was on this trip! Even with her bad knees, hips, back, etc she walked the entire zoo with all of us!! Now that is commitment! The kids couldn't have been happier, it was a wonderful experience for all of us!

The Children's zoo

Bears were definitely a favorite of Noah's!

Something Noah's talked about forever.....a real train ride!

Enjoying our train ride together :-D LOVE these kids!

Topped off our beautiful day with a trip to the famous Ted Drewes!! YUUMMmmmm!!!!

THANK YOU so much to Sally and Laney for driving all the way to IL to spend some quality time with Haley and Noah! They had so much fun grabbing fries from McD's and then heading to walmart for some serious toy shopping!!!

This was the 3rd hotel Haley and Noah got to stay at on our trip and they sure enjoyed spending time with Papa in the indoor pool!! First experience for them with an indoor pool and they thought it was so cool because it was nice and warm :-) These kids were LOVING all the hotel stays and when it came time to head back home they did not want to go home. Haley asked if we could go back to our normal hotel which was the 2nd one we stayed at that of course was a very fancy hotel. What can I say....it runs in the family genes ;-D

While in STL we were able to visit with Rachel, Cory, Nathan (not pictured) and Lucas!! We hadn't had a chance to meet him yet but we were so excited when we heard we were going to get to meet up with them. What a great evening with the family!

As you can expect we kept ourselves very busy on this trip and even got a chance to have lunch with Sis, Ma and John at one of our favorite places....Pasta House!!! Another delicious STL favorite! Sis, Ma and John also spoiled the kids like crazy with bags and bags of  goodies that helped kids the entertained on our trip! Thank you guys so much!!

Serious travelers.....First of three hotels down...check!

Check out these cool kids at Cheesecake Factory!

Now that's one close orangutan!! These big guys and the bears were Noah's all time favorite animals. Haley loved all of them!
