As you may notice from all the pictures below, there wasn't a spare moment this Christmas Holiday! We were busy busy having WAAYYY too much fun with all the family and getting ready for Santa's big arrival! Haley was SUPER excited about Santa coming this year BUT she cried when she realized that Goo Goose (our Elf on the shelf) was going to be going home with Santa that night :-( She gets VERY attached to all her things if you haven't already noticed by the several pictures I've posted over the years with her and all of her baby dolls/animals! She still talks about Goo Goose and gives her all the credit for the great gifts that Goo Goose told Santa to bring her. Haley is glad to hear that Goo Goose is at home with her family right now and playing with all her new toys too!
Christmas Eve morning started with Church first thing in the morning, then over to Grandma and Papa's house for a big brunch with both of our families including Melissa, Whit, Jared, Tonia and Connor and Sheryl and Ryan!!

Next we were off to see Great Grandma at the nursing home where

Haley helped Great Grandma open up all of her presents!

Noah watched very cautiously from Grandma's lap and took a walk with

Papa :-)

Later Clayton and Papa got very creative and made some great entertainment for Haley and Noah :-) This box could have been the only Christmas present they had gotten this year and they would have been perfectly happy. Also what better way to make everyone else in the nursing home smile!

Noah makes a perfect gift...HA! After our visit with Great Grandma we headed back to our house for dinner and presents!!!! Of course Haley couldn't wait any longer and had to start opening a couple while dinner was still cooking. Once dinner was over it was on! Unfortunately from all the activity the past few days Noah only made it through just a couple of gifts before he was off to bed to wait for Santa to come. Haley wasn't too far behind him as she was pretty exhausted as well from playing with her cousin Connor all week at Mimi's house!

Those two play so well together and Connor was so sweet in offering his toys to Noah! Noah and Connor are the only two boys in the family so far so i have a feeling they are going to be close buds!

Love my Family!!!

Christmas morning was a HUGE success!!! When the kids walked downstairs the first thing they saw was this beautiful train table (like the one at Barnes and Noble) just for THEM!!! Thankfully Papa has a great connection with Santa and was able to talk him into dropping the train table off for Haley and Noah after he built it since Papa's truck was full from Daddy's new tool chest :-) Haley thought that was so cool that Papa knew Santa!! Just like last year we had put out our milk and cookies (oreo's of course) and carrots for Santa and his reindeer! Santa and Goo Goose left both kids a very special

bell again! Both kids also received new booster and car seats! Noah is LOVING his new big boy seat and especially the fact that he has his own cup holder now. He likes to put everything in there (sippy cups, pacifiers, blankets, toys, etc). Haley's never had a pink seat before so this is really special and she has a lot more room now too she said :-)

The day after Christmas Sally, Ma and John, Gary, Mandy, Macy and Makayla all came into town!!

It was so great spending the holidays with our family and cherish every moment of it!
Of course both kids got WAAAYYY more toys then they'll ever need but they are sure enjoying all of them! We have to give a special thanks to Macy and Makayla for giving Noah his very first drum set!

This is just the most wonderful noise at 6:30am when both kids are up in the media room banging on the drum sets as hard as they can while each holding a drum stick in each hand! Ma and John topped off the total drum set by giving the kids a microphone that sings Christmas songs and makes their voice sound like an Elf. So not only do we get to hear the drums going like crazy but we also get to hear Haley sing right along....it's actually very funny and cute!!! Noah has been eyeing his big sister's pink chair lately so Mimi and Grandpa made sure he got his very own this year!
He gets a huge kick out of standing in his chair, stealing his sisters
chair and leaving over his chair to play with his toys! Once in a while when he's pretty tired he'll actually sit in there and watch a brainy baby movie.
This time 1 year ago was when Papa and Noah's bond truly got started!!

They may not have even realized it but they celebrated this great bond with Noah's very 1st trip to WAFFLE HOUSE!

From what I heard it sounded like Noah really enjoyed his breakfast with Papa! He chowed down on his waffles and entertained the staff with his big smiles and dance moves :-)

This past Thursday Papa and Noah made a trip to McDonald's for breakfast! No worries.....Haley still gets her morning with Papa on Fridays!! This is probably what she'll be most upset about when she has to start going straight to school on Friday's in Kindergarten rather than breakfast with Papa.

I had to post these pictures....I think he thinks he's a Magician! He will literally keep trying until he can get something to balance on his head...HAHA! Crazy boy i tell you!

Haley, Sher Sher, Mimi and I kicked off the new year with a girls day of shopping and getting our nails done!
We are looking forward to 2012 and all the fun exciting times its going to bring! Haley starts gymnastics class this Saturday! She's beyond excited to get back to gymnastics again! Also Noah just moved up to the walkers room at school on 1/6/12! He will now take one nap a day and it's on a cot (rather than in a crib), sits at a table in chairs for all meals with his friends (rather than a high chair) and only drinks milk from a sippy cup and eats toddler food....no more baby food! Noah had no problem with that part :-) Starting this summer he'll also get to go to the water park at school! I'll post some new pictures soon!
