We have ourselves an official Boater!

Of course Haley has been on the lake numerous times and really enjoys it so this past weekend we decided to take things to another level for her to see how she like tubing! She is quite the little dare devil these days so I really thought that she was going to enjoy it and she most certainly did! She kept wanting to go faster and faster! Once I pulled her back into the boat she walked up to Mimi and said "that was easy!" We can't wait to take her back out again this weekend when all her cousins are in town! Here are a few pictures from the adventure. I forgot my camera so my phone was the best I could do. Not the best pictures but you get the idea.

Getting ready to take off.....

and She's off!

Safely back in the boat where she said "that was easy" and she wants to go again! :-)

Disney World Update Part 2

As I mentioned previously our Disney World trip with Mimi and Melissa was absolutely fabulous! I wish we could take Haley there every weekend! She loves seeing all of the characters and when she can't see them she says something like "Mickey is going to come see me in 1 minute" (as she holds her finger in the air to show us 1 min.)! It's so cute! When we told her that Mickey wasn't going to come see her at that breakfast she said "we better go outside and see Mickey....he's waiting for me!" She was very serious too! Melts my heart to see how grown up she is and how much she truly enjoys these trips to Disney World. Like I said....worth EVERY penny! While we were walking through the parks, etc you could hear Mickey talking over the speakers and Haley would say "Mickey's talking to me!" She's obsessed! It's not just Mickey though, she loves them all and wants to give all of them hugs when she sees them. She told us before we went to Disney that she wanted to give everyone hugs and boy did she! Here's Pooh and Piglet, Goofy and Pluto, Handy Manny, Minnie, Mickey, Little Einsteins Leo. We left right after work on Friday and got to Disney World around 11:30pm that night. We woke up really early Saturday morning so that we were ready for our 8am breakfast with the Little Einsteins, Handy Manny and JoJo! I must say that was the BEST way to start off our vacation! It got everyone in the spirit of Disney World and Haley was so into everything. They got all the kids up and were dancing with them, came around to see them a couple times, took several pictures, etc. Saturday we spent the day at Universal Studios where we got to see The Little Mermaid show, Beauty and the Beast show, Disney's Playhouse Disney show where they had all the characters from Mickey Mouse, Little Einsteins, Handy Manny and Winnie the Pooh (all of Haley's favorite shows, other than Dora and Barney who are not on the Disney channel). We also got to see a few 3D shows! After all the shows, seeing all the characters and playing on the Honey I shrunk the Kids playground we were able to go on a few rides as well! It was crazy hot the whole weekend but we would take a break about 12:30pm each day and head back to the condo so Haley could nap and we could all freshen up. That was a life saver for all of us! We would then head back to the park in the evening once it had cooled down some and we weren't out in the hottest part of the day.

Haley was taking in every part of this "Girls weekend".....she said she needed sunglasses like we all had (also my 20wk belly shot), needed her bracelets/necklaces when she saw us wearing them and needed her purse (lunch box) when we were leaving dinner one night since we all had ours. She even told Mimi and Miss "look, I have my purse just like you do!" She was walking around with such a proud look on her face it was cracking all of us and everyone else in the restaurant up. When she would put her sunglasses on she'd always have such a serious face and we would laugh and she would say "hey...don't laugh at me!" She was such a girly girl but we were all loving it!
We spent Saturday morning shopping around Downtown Disney and then that afternoon we spent at the pool! There were 2 adult pools and 1 kids pool and we tried them all out! Once we were finished swimming we got cleaned up for the night and headed out for a very nice dinner with a great view and then back to the condo to rest up for our BIG day at Magic Kingdom on Sunday!!! This is the park of all park for kids! I think we could spend the entire vacation there but it's also great to see all the other parks too!

Monday morning we headed off to Magic Kingdom nice and early and got there about 45 minutes before the park opened so we wouldn't have to wait in a really long line and were able to get to the rides first! Haley's first ride that morning was on Dumbo with Melissa! Last trip the train was her favorite ride while this time Dumbo was clearly the #1 ride! Luckily we were able to ride it a few times! Next we were off to Winnie the Pooh, It's a Small World, Merry Go Round, Peter Pan, Tea Cups, etc. Of course we had to stop off a few times to get Goofy Gummy Bears (best gummies ever!) and the Mickey Mouse gold fish crackers, and Minnie Mouse cookies! Those are our favorite Disney World snacks! Around 12:30pm we headed out of the park to go get Smoothies and lunch just before putting Haley down for her nap. She ended up taking a later than normal nap so when we woke up we went for an early dinner and then headed back to the park around 6pm. The park was open till 11pm that night and we knew were going to be there till it closed so it worked out great that Haley's nap was later than usual. That night we went on Dumbo again, tea cups, saw Mickey and Minnie, Buzz light year, Rockets, Haunted Mansion (Haley skipped this one with Miss), danced with Goofy and Pluto (she's almost got it!), etc and finally the famous fire works show over the Castle where Tinker Bell flies over the crowd (Haley's favorite and all she talked about that night!). We ended the night with the Disney parade where all the characters road down Main Street in beautiful pumpkins, cars, rides, etc. I had to fly out early Tuesday morning so I could get back to work but Mimi and Miss took Haley to The Rain Forest Cafe for lunch and as you can see the video (taken w/ Melissa's phone) she loved it. It truly was a wonderful trip and I can't wait to take both Haley and Noah back next time! Probably won't plan the next trip for end of June though....was a bit hot!!!

Luckily once we got home from Disney World it didn't all end, Melissa came home for a few days and was able to watch Haley for us! Here are a few pictures of there fun filled days! They would go to the park, do some art work, go on walks, and of course had to stop for some lunch at Mellow Mushroom with Grandpa! Haley would eat pizza for every meal!
Now that Melissa had to go back to her house and Mimi had to go out of town for a few days we have had to make several phone calls to them because Haley says that she needs her Mimi or Miss...it flips depending on her mood :-) She sure loves and misses them a lot as you can tell!

Noah Update

We had the big 20 week ultra sound last week to look at Noah's heart, brain, lungs, etc and everything looked great! The Dr. said they were able to see everything they needed to see and everything looked wonderful and she has no concerns. Whew, what a relief! You always hope and plan that everything is going to be just fine at all these ultra sound visits but every time I'm about to walk through the door I get really nervous and think what am I going to do if they tell me something is wrong with my baby? I did the exact same thing with every visit for Haley too so I guess you could call me a nervous nanny about this stuff but these are BIG things to worry about in life. Noah's heart rate was 147 and he was rubbing his eyes and yawning :-) I'm sure he was still exhausted from our Disney trip as was I, we had a very busy week! He's about 10 inches long and 1 lb at this time. He's expected to double in size over the next 3 weeks so we are about to grow again! We got several other pictures but they were never able to get the side profile picture since Noah decided he wanted to look right at the monitor the whole time! Seriously, they had me turn on my side, move him around, etc and nothing....he would always be looking directly at the monitor and would not let us get a side profile picture. Oh well we saw lots of his face and I really think he's going to look more like me rather than Clayton. Of course you really can't tell much from the ultra sound pictures but Haley's 20 week ultra sound we knew she looked just like Clayton already! She had the exact same profile as him and when she was born she was the spitting image of him. Our next visit is in 3 weeks so I'll post another update soon! We did pick out the bedding for the nursery which was a huge relief to me for some reason. It's been really hard not having our new house ready and being able to get things decorated and setup yet but at least now I have Haley's Big Girl bedding and Noah's nursery bedding ready for when we move in on 7/30/10!!! I'll post pictures once we get moved in an all set up.

Father's Day Update

I promise to get back to the Disney update soon but I figured I should probably go in order so I wanted to give you the breakdown of how Clayton's 3rd Father's Day went! Since we are living with my parents until the end of this month when our house will be ready Haley had the opportunity to make breakfast for both Daddy and Grandpa!!! She was very excited and proud of this too! She did tell me that I needed to make her breakfast still though :-) Later she offered to make mine as well so I felt better about it. So Haley started off the morning making Mickey Mouse and heart pancakes for Daddy and Grandpa in bed. Once every ones belly's were full the 4 of us headed to the lake and eventually ended up having lunch at one of the restaurants on the North end! (My Mom was out of town spending precious time with Macy and Makayla until later that night). Haley and Grandpa enjoyed feeding all the "geese" not ducks (Haley corrected me) and waiving to all the other Dad's on the lake. It was a pretty hot day so we stopped to swim a few times and then Haley took her usual nap on the boat. I'm telling you....every time we go out there she falls asleep! When she's awake she's really starting to enjoy swimming in the lake and even jumped off the side of the boat a few times to me! Later that night we topped off the evening with Haley's 3 favorite guys! Papa, Daddy and Grandpa! She loves these 3 guys so much!!! Of course they all spoil her to death and treat her like a Princess! Haley absolutely loves her Grandma's too so I just had to snap a few pictures of Mimi and Grandma too! Father's Day ended with movie time with Daddy on the couch!
