SOLD!

As some of you know we have had the house on the market for about 8 months and finally got a contract put on it in mid March! We officially closed on the house this past Tuesday and packed up and moved out Thursday night! It took a full week of packing and oh my gosh are we all EXHAUSTED!!! A very special thanks to everyone who came to help us pack up over the past week. We know that we have worn you down but we are so thankful to have family and friends to help us during these busy times. Who would have thought we could have had so much stuff in that house? It was unbelievable but we are glad the packing is over....for now! I say for now because we signed a contract on a new house this past Sunday (YEAH!!!) however we won't be able to move in until late May/early June since it's currently a model house and they have to move all their stuff out, etc. We have spent several long weekend and nights looking for our next home and finally found it! For now we are camping out at my parents house at the lake! What a great time to live up here. Clayton and I are hoping for some peaceful boat rides in the evenings after a long day of work and of course on the weekends! We were so sad to leave our old house though because we have so many memories in that house and that's where we first brought Haley home and spent so much time in making her room perfect! We'll i guess we'll have to make her next Big Kid room perfect too :) She's really doing well with the move and is SUPER excited to be living with Mimi and Grandpa! We did empty out the entire house last night and then took her into her room and our room so she could say good bye and hopefully understand that we won't be going back. :-( So we are off to make new memories in our new home! I have to tell you guys that I think Haley's most favorite part of moving was having Russell and Brandon over to play with while we all packed. Haley pulled all of her books out of her toy box and asked Russell to read them all to her. She also wanted anything and everything that he wanted to eat, drink, sit, etc. Look how cute they are having lunch together!

Over the past few weeks

The last weekend in March was Family Day at Gymnastics where everyone could come watch their kids, grand kids, etc. Grandma, Papa, Mimi and Grandpa all came to watch Haley! Judging by this video I don't think she could have been more excited to have them there! She was loving showing them all her new tricks and running over to them during class just to give them a hug! Since Haley had so many visitors that weekend Sheryl decided to join us this past weekend! Haley loves her gymnastics class and we have just signed her up for the next session which will continue through early June. She woke up last Saturday morning and once she realized she got to go to gymnastics that day she ran around the house saying "gymnastics" and even woke Clayton up to tell him that she was going to gymnastics today! She is doing really good and improving every week. Here she is doing her backwards roll. This is one of my favorite pictures!!

Easter egg hunting was a hit! Haley really loved doing Easter egg hunts this year and we have continued to do them at home still :) All week at Haley's school they had to wear certain colors each week because they were teaching each of them about different shades of colors, etc. On Friday it was orange so that's why you see everyone in orange during the Easter egg hunt. Haley usually doesn't go to school on Friday's however since she was having her Easter egg hunt that day we took her up there just for the fun activities and then she came back home to be with Grandma and Papa like usual.

On Saturday we all went up to Mimi and Grandpa's house for our annual Easter dinner. Haley and I colored Easter eggs together and she helped decide the color for each egg and whose name we were going to write on there. She even wanted to do one for all the dogs :) To top off the night Caleb was able to come to Mimi's house too (Sheryl and Ryan's nephew). Haley and Caleb had such a great time playing together and really enjoyed having someone else their age around. They did several Easter egg hunts and ate cup cakes and chick cake pops that Sheryl made for everyone! They were on a sugar high after that but they both ate the whole thing! As most of you know that is very unusual for Haley so we were super excited. All and all Haley had a wonderful Easter weekend and enjoyed all of her Easter gifts from everyone! It was like a week of gifts for her...everyday she'd either get one in the mail or someone was bringing her a basket over. Sorry, I didn't take any pictures of her opening the stuff as i was too curious myself.
