We celebrated Haley's 3rd St. Patty's Day with our annual tradition...the St. Patty's Day parade in Savannah. Unfortunately the one held in downtown Savannah (the real one) isn't until Wednesday so we headed to
Tybee Island to join
their festivities! We had such a great time and Haley really seemed to enjoy it! We started off the big day with some
painting activities that Miss (Aunt Melissa) came up with for
Haley,
Macy and
Makayla...St. Patty's Day finger painting! Then the girls were off for some
playtime with
their toys. Haley LOVES her cousins and
especially enjoys taking them all
their toys and watching them get
their diapers changed! She's such a good helper. After playtime all
their girls went down for an early nap while we all got ourselves ready and the cars packed up and then we headed to
Tybee Island for
lunch and the
parade. Once again Miss got very creative and designed Haley,
Makayla, and Macy a personalized St. Patty's Day shirt that has
their initials on it! As you can see Haley even got a new green bow made by Miss. She loves wearing it and is looking forward to wearing her new shirt and bow again this Wednesday!

The
parade was a hit for
everyone! It was a bit chilly when the sun was in but when it came out and the wind wasn't blowing it was
perfect! Either way it was much better than the cold rainy weather that
ATL had :-) The sun was out enough that
Macy and
Haley felt that it was necessary to wear
their sunglasses too...
LOL!

Once the parade ended rather than sitting in traffic we decided to take a
walk down to the
beach! This was Macy and
Makayla's first trip to the beach! We topped off the night by heading to dinner with our whole gang and Melissa and Whit's neighbors. We went to this fantastic
restaurant in Savannah that has a
kids room. There are tables all along the walls but in the middle there is a huge play area for all the kids with several different toys, books, etc! What a great idea! We actually got to eat an
un-interrupted dinner and then had to pry Haley away from her toys so that she could eat hers too.
All in all it was a WONDERFUL trip and we can't wait to go back soon! Hopefully this summer so we can teach Haley how to make sand castles, etc. The quick video below is from Sunday evening when we got back home and Haley decided to share with us what her take aways from this weekend were...
haha! (P.S. Mimi didn't go with us to Savannah, but we stayed at her house last weekend when the
gang came
in town and Haley kept quoting her all week). Oh and when we got home she said she wanted to go back to Miss and Whit's house...she didn't want to come home :-( Maybe she missed her
buddy Jake (Jack according to Haley) I guess she had too much fun....she also said that she wanted to go back to Disney World! Crazy girl! By the way
Haley is still a trooper when it comes to all our travels and usually entertains herself with reading books, stickers, coloring books, and movies when going on these long car rides.
