Haley was so much fun this Christmas, she absolutely LOVED all of her presents this year! Well...I'm not sure how much she really liked her Barbie four wheeler but Dad sure liked it! I don't think it will take her long to warm up to it, she was just asking today to sit on it so we will see! Thank you to everyone for all of her wonderful gifts. She is one spoiled little girl and i think that she knows it. Christmas Eve of course began with our annual tradition...a visit to Starbucks! Later in the afternoon we headed to Church with the family.
Haley did pretty good through the church service but we did have to step out one time for a quick diaper change. Next we were off to Aunt Sheryl and Uncle Ryan's house for drinks and appetizers with the family! We had a great time and Haley even got to open a few presents from Mimi and Grandpa and Aunt Sheryl. When Haley woke up on Christmas Morning i tried to snap a few pictures so we could all see her first impression of all the gifts that Santa left her. Haley was very anxious to get her new baby doll out of the package. She pulled her around the house everywhere she went that day. They even got to learn numbers together :) Thanks Riley and Reganne! Another one of Haley's favorite toys from Christmas is her coloring table. She LOVES to walk around with ALL of her crayons and will occasionally stop by to color on her coloring books. She liked it so much that we had to set up a coloring table at Mimi and Grandpa's house while we were there this weekend. Uncle Ryan and Aunt Sheryl went to NY recently and got Haley a drum set and a jack in the box from F.A.O Schwartz which clearly Haley loves. Unfortunately i wasn't thinking and when we opened up presents with Uncle Gary, Aunt Mandy, Aunt Melissa, Uncle Whit and Mimi and Grandpa i did not have my camera on hand. Haley actually wore one of her new outfits from Aunt Melissa and Uncle Whit today and she looked so cute, I'll have to snap a picture! Of course she got several other gifts from them as well but i don't want to even begin naming all of the gifts that Haley received this year. Uncle Gary and Aunt Mandy got Haley a care bare that she likes to snuggle with and a piano that makes her think she is a pro! Oh and another favorite is her new pink cell phone...she is so cute with it! I'll try to get a video but she walks around with it up to her mouth saying "Hi Dad" and is basically yelling it into the phone! I love it. Since Mimi has 2 cell phones and Haley likes to steal both of them she bought her one of her own. She also got her first kitchen! Hopefully all this cooking that she does will make her want to eat more! It is so cute, it makes sounds when you put the pot on the stove, turn on the water, put the toast in the toaster, we might have a real chef here shortly.Lastly we finished up the weekend with Haley's first trip to the Aquarium! She did really well as long as we didn't stay looking at the same fish for too long and she really liked all the bright colors of the fish and of course their size! I think she was a little sad that she couldn't touch them but she will realize why as she gets older.
