She's on the move!

Haley took her first two steps on October 2nd, 2008 and since then she has continued to only take one or two steps. We haven't really been encouraging her to walk though because she seemed to be getting into enough things without walking so we were trying to save our sanity as long as possible. However on November 18th, 2008 she started taking several steps many times! Since she always seems so interested in the camera it is very difficult to take a video of her but I was finally able to catch a very short video of her walking. YEAH....GO HALEY, but look out Mom and Dad :) I can only imagine all the trouble she is going to get herself into now that she can walk. When we catch her doing something or about to do something she screams, laughs, and then takes off to get what ever it was that she was after as fast as she can before we grab her. She certainly thinks this is a big game. She is absolutely hilarious when we put shoes on her and she tries to walk you would think that she has the longest legs in the world. She picks her legs up really high and them stomps them back down. She had the ladies at daycare in tears because they were laughing so hard at her! Crazy girl i tell you. I'll try to get a video of that as well but we'll have to see.

We recently got Haley's 1 year old pictures done and I think that they turned out really well. It was a cold day and Haley wasn't very happy about that but she still took some cute pictures. I like our family pictures as well.

Some more news is that Manace got ENGAGED!!! Yeah!! We are so excited for her and we got to see her beautiful ring the other day when she came over to visit :) Congrats Manace!

I can not believe how much Haley has changed since she turned one. She is now getting into absolutely everything. She is definitely a toddler now and she is out to prove it. She loves to go through all the kitchen and bathroom cabinets and drawers, oh and she most certainly likes to go through the pantry and see what she can get into in there :( Lastly, we found that we have to keep the bathroom doors closed now because she loves to pull all the toilet paper off the rolls and play in the water in the toilet...YUCK!!! It's been a tough adjustment for us but hopefully after we pick up some locks for the cabinets this weekend we will be a little better off. I should mention that Clayton's way of showing my Haley's new tricks was to leave everything out that she had pulled out of the cabinets and the toilet paper all over the bathroom, and just shut the door so it would be a surprise when i opened the door....gotta love it!

Sorry, I forgot that I never posted pictures of Haley's second Halloween but here are some pictures we took earlier in the day with her. After taking a stroll in her new wagon with Kylah (Haley's best friend!) we headed over to spend the evening at Aunt Sheryl and Uncle Ryan's house. Haley went tricking or treating through the office the Wednesday before Halloween so she already had lots of candy and she had her very first Heart Walk to attend Saturday morning 11/1/08 so she needed to get her sleep. Haley was a top walker for our company because of all the money she raised and was treated with VIP passes, red carpet treats and snacks, and even had her picture taken with the rest of the top walkers which will be turned into a billboard in downtown Atlanta so keep an eye out for Haley's picture and thank you to everyone who made donations for this great cause!

I had to post this video because it cracks me up. Just so you know ahead of time I am talking on the phone to Sheryl while I am recording this video :) I just love how Kylah tries to get in on all the fun too!!!
