Haley's first road trip.....to Savannah, GA for her first St. Patty's Day Parade!!! She had so much fun with her Aunt Melissa and Uncle Whit. We took her to the parade Friday morning and popped her first bottle at 9am! What a partier!!! She will fits right in :) It was a cold morning so we had to make sure she was nice and warm but she really did enjoy the parade while she was awake. After about 15 minutes of the parade she passed out! Now that is a huge party foul so we will have to work on that HA HA! Saturday Haley went to her first Rugby tournament in Savannah. What a crazy group, but we had a great time and Haley was dressed perfectly for the event! She was all set to get a nice tan.
I finally decided to try to put Haley on her tummy the other day for some tummy time and she quickly realized she could take care of that situation on her own now and rolled her self right over. She had done it a few times before but not that quickly. I then rolled her back over on her belly to see how long it would take her a second time and she rolled right over again. I guess she will not be a tummy sleeper when she gets older. I wonder if she will be interested in crawling...she already loves to stand so maybe she will go from sitting to walking :) She's a crazy one and likes to make her own rules.
Grandma Reed bought Haley some books the other day that have different textures of animals. She is still really into feeling everything so she thought this was pretty cool during story time.
We are still feeding her cereal once a day and she is getting much better at it, but its still not her favorite. She loves her bottle! Oh...one of her newest addictions is her "tag blanket" it's a blanket that is about a foot in width and height and is really soft with satin tags hanging off the side of it....she absolutely LOVES this blanket. She must have it to fall asleep now but once you give her a pacifier and her blanket she is out! Thank goodness Aunt Melissa bought this for Haley before she was born. We went out a bought a second one so we have back up now! We made the mistake of washing it while she was trying to take a nap one day...we won't do that again :) She is doing really well with putting herself to sleep at night though. Just make sure she has her blanket and pacifier and she will usually go to bed at 7:30pm each night and sleep till the next morning!
