Our little Valentine....

I am so sorry I have really fallen behind on my updates! I have been waiting until i could post some more pictures but i was having technical difficulties.
Our first Valentine’s Day with Haley was absolutely wonderful! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect evening as she joined us for a wonderful dinner! These past 4 months have been absolutely amazing. We can't even express how much love and joy she has brought to our lives! She had such a great Valentine's day with Grandma Lichtenberg playing patty cake and itsy bitsy spider. Every day she starts to talk more and more...if that were possible! Haley also had her first sickness. Of course being the high maintenance girl that she is it wasn't a cold or something easy....it was the stomach flu! Which she later passed around to the family that came to be with her while she was sick! She had her first visit to the ER. I even took a picture of her in her hospital gown, so sad! Normally we wouldn't have taken her to the ER but we called the on call nurse because she kept choking when she would get sick and they were worried she would get aspirated. We didn't go down by ambulance like the nurse highly recommended but we drove her down there and finally got back home at 2:30am to find out she had the stomach flu and her acid reflux was making it worse. The following day we had to take her to the pediatrician to have them check her out and she weighs 11lbs and 8oz. Getting to be a big girl! Haley turned 4 months last Wednesday and we started putting cereal in her bottle which seems to be helping with her acid reflux. I can't tell you how excited we are to have that getting resolved. We have to do laundry almost every day just to wash bibs and burp cloths! Soon we will start solid foods!!! I will be taking her Friday for her 4 month shots! I hope they go as well as her 3 month ones. Haley doesn't like tummy time but if Dad played on the floor with her she didn't seem to mind it too much. She does like to play with her drums though! Most importantly she LOVES her bouncy seat now...especially the little monkey on the side...good thing i did her bathroom in monkey's!!! You can hear her laughing and screaming all the way upstairs! She is still taking naps after almost every feeding which is great because that allows us to actually get some things around the house done. She is also sleeping GREAT....the last few nights have been 12 hours! She really is just like her Dad!
Grandpa Reed also came over to watch Haley this past week and she is really starting to enjoy her family! It's a good thing since we are always around each other!
