Growing so fast...

Haley is growing up so fast! She now weighs 11 lbs and 4oz. She is now sleeping about 10 hours with an occassional 11 hours during the night and still takes her naps during the day too! She started sleeping about 8 hrs a night at 6 weeks and it has only increased! We think she is currently going through a growth spurt because she is sleeping alot and eating 2 ounces more than she was a week ago! We took Haley to get her 3 month pictures a week and a half ago! She was such a trooper and showed off her smile! She still looks just like her daddy!

Haley was able to see her first snow, which occured on her 3 month birthday! She hates to be cold so she didn't really enjoy it too much but i'm sure that will all change as she gets older and can play in it. Speaking of getting older...look at our big girl sitting in her bumbo seat all by herself. She has started reaching for her toys now as well. She has been a busy girl putting her hands in her mouth and drooling lately...we think she is about to start teething! All in all she is still a very happy baby and is quit the talker! She loves to sit in our bed in the mornings and tell us these long stories :) Well we call them stories! At the end of the day though, she still enjoys a good nap with her puppy! Kylah is quite the guard dog and howls any time Haley starts to cry...she is just making sure we realize that Haley needs some attention!

3 months old and can't stop smiling...

Can you believe it...Haley is already 3 months old this week! She laughs and smiles all the time now which puts everyone around her in a good mood. We can hear her all the way upstairs laughing, it really makes your day! She is doing much better with the new formula. It's a hypoallergenic formula so its lactose free, milk base free and not soy! Wow...do we have a high maintenance daughter or what :) Haha...Clearly she takes after her Dad!!! We should have known from the beginning! She is still taking Prevacid for her acid reflux and it seems to help sometimes but she still spits up a lot. Oh well, at least it helps some! Haley will go next Friday for her 3 month shots, so i will give you an update on how she is growing after her check up.

Haley is almost ready for summer! She made her first trip to the ATL Boat show this past weekend and found her favorite boat...44ft Sea Ray Cruiser! This was her reaction when she first saw the boat, then we took her on it!

Haley also went to Zoe and Eli's this week for their first day with Haley. Haley's day was filled with Taleen and Bryce reading her stories (sooo cute), playing in her bouncy seat, playing with Bryce and Taleen's piano and lastly trying to find our thumb! As much as we have tried to give her the pacifier so she wouldn't find her thumb i think its almost inevitable. Her new favorite toy is her Rainforest mobile that Papa bought for her!

Haley made another trip to the mall this weekend, but this time Dad came with us! Of course we also made a stop at Starbucks with Grandma too :) What's a day of shopping with out Starbucks?

First Christmas

Our first Christmas with Haley was absolutely wonderful! We both agree it was the best Christmas ever! The whole week was so busy with all of our family in town. The festivities first began on Christmas Eve morning when Haley and I went to Starbucks! Sorry i didn't take a picture but I am going to try to make it a tradition that the two of us get coffee together every Christmas Eve morning. Later that afternoon we celebrated Christmas with Clayton's Parents (Papa and GJo (Grandma JoAnn)). We put Haley's glider at the table so she wouldn't be left out during dinner. Afterwards we took a family picture just before heading out for Christmas Eve Church Service. Looks like Haley and Dad were having a tough time staying awake :) Aunt Sheryl was excited to be with Haley for her first church service. Once Haley woke back up from her nap it was time to open presents! She was so sad when she thought Christmas was over and she had to go to bed...but was much happier once she woke up the next morning to realize she still had one more day left! Dad and Haley watched the Christmas Story together Christmas morning! After relaxing for a while it was bath time! Everyone had to get cleaned up for the big Christmas dinner. Haley wasn't able to make it to the Malls to get her picture with Santa because we didn't want her to get sick so....Santa came to her!!! What a great guy :) I have more picture of her on Santa's lap but will have to post them later! After a busy busy day with everyone Haley got into her Pj's and visited with the family before heading off to bed.

Over the next few days Haley was able to meet her cousins Reganne, Riley, Connor and Max (dog)! She also was able to spend many hours in the arms of her Uncle Gary! She was sad to see him leave but we were able to cheer her up by taking her shopping with Riley.

Haley also had a chance to hang out many days with Aunt Melissa who spoils her to death and Great Aunt Sally whom she was finally able to meet!

We are still waiting till Friday to see if the new acid reflux medicine (prevacid) is going to work. Apparently it takes two weeks to really make a difference. We are also trying the hypoallergenic formula to see if that will help as well. Hopefully i will have good news next week!
