Trick or Treat...

Haley is all set for her first Halloween thanks to her Aunt Melissa for her halloween outfit. I can hardly believe that Haley is 7 days old today. She is such a blessing!

Haley has been such a wonderful addition to our lives! We couldn't imagine life with out her. Sleeping has actually gone very well so far and she is eating like a champ! We had our first pediatrician visit yesterday and the Dr. said she looked great! She has only lost 3 ounces since she was born and on average babies will lose about 10% of thier body weight in the first week so she is ahead of the game. I will post an update tomorrow with Haley in her Halloween outfit and she will be 7 days old!

Haley Lichtenberg

Our princess arrived 10/24/2007 at 3:19pm! She weighs 6lbs 10 oz and is 19 1/2 inches long! We came home from the hospital Friday 10/26/2007 and are doing great! Sorry i don't have much time to give many details but wanted to give everyone a quick update and some pictures of our little girl!

Wednesday is the BIG day....10/24/2007!!!

Wonderful news from the Dr. this morning.....if i have not gone into labor before tomorrow night, we will go to the hospital tomorrow night and then they will start the potosin at 5:30am wednesday morning! Our little Haley will finally be here on 10/24/2007, just in time for Halloween! Thanks to her Aunt Melissa she already has her halloween outfit! I'll try to make sure I post a picture of her wearing her costume! Stay tuned for her first pictures :)

We're still waiting...

Well we are now 37 weeks along and now that she is considered a full term baby she doesn't seem to want to make her appearance yet! She is already taking after her Mom, Aunts, and Grandma Reed in the fact that she doesn't like to be told when she can or can't do something! Amazing how they pick up these talents so young :) I think our little Haley is going to have a very interesting personality!!! We went to the Dr. today and everything seems to be going great and we are making some progress but obviously not as much progress and i would like to see at this point. I am still having several contractions an hour around the clock but until they get really really painful and 5 minutes apart i just have to wait. My belly is dropping everyday and the Dr. pointed out again today how low she was....so she is almost ready and lets all hope that it is sometime this week!

Our couples shower at Grandma and Grandpa Reed's house was fantastic! The decorations, food and gifts were absolutely wonderful! Some of which were essential to have before we were able to bring her home from the hospital...like a car seat :), diaper changing pad, boppy, a new camera for all these great pictures, etc! Even Kylah and Clayton like to test out Haley's new ride! We are so thankful for every ones thoughtfulness and eagerness to celebrate this special time in our lives!

Our Bags are Packed!

Although our little girl is not supposed to arrive for another 4-5 weeks it's looking more and more likely that she will be here any day! We spent the night at the hospital again last Friday because i was having several contractions again. They gave me some medicine to try to stop them but it only slowed them down. I am no longer on the medicine as of Monday, so now we just wait and see! I have a Dr. appt scheduled for Monday so i should know more then.

Clayton and I are looking forward to our Couples Shower this weekend and will do our best to post pictures next week!
